I demand a refund. This tileset is garbage. It is not even RPG Maker format. Also, the images have more than what is in this set. This tileset is a scam.
Sorry for the confusion. This tileset was not made in Rpg Maker format, and it is also not stated on the page that this tileset was specifically made for Rpg Maker. What is stated is that this tileset pack includes a sample map created using Rpg Maker MV. Have you tried playtesting the sample map?
Edit: If you want to open the sample map you can try program called Tiled map editor https://www.mapeditor.org/ just extract Sample Map.zip. then go to folder Sample Map > maps then, inside you can open JSON file using Tiled. Hope that helps.
Unfortunately, that won't help me in my situation. I know how to take MV formatted tilesets and convert them to VX Ace. But a json file will not help me here because VX Ace does not use json files.
Even my expertise in graphic design along with what I learned in college could not fix this. I was able to salvage the trees and objects and make a B tileset out of them, but the ground and water, I can't fix into the right format.
The reason for this tileset isn't in Rpg maker format because the Rpg maker has various limitation in it's map editor. The better solution to your situation is to use parallax mapping method in Rpg Maker Vx Ace.
That's strange, I don't have the option to pay with a card. I didn't know you could turn that off. Since I don't use Paypal on principal, that means I won't be able to buy this. Could you reply to this if you decide to allow other payment methods in the future? I love your work and would like to support you.
